Hello All,
Unfortunately, after an amazing day yesterday, today we received notice from BC that our content has to change. Because of all of our BC-related posts, the administration got word of it and sent us this email:
|
Sorry, we couldn't make it bigger. |
We're concerned that we might lose viewers if we are not posting about BC. We know that there are other blogs like Broston College that talk about BC, so we figure we should be able to do the same. If you want us to keep posting, please leave us a comment below, and hopefully the BC admin will see that we are here to stay!

wait...really? Typical BC
ReplyDeleteunbelievable...
ReplyDeleteAnd they'll do what if you don't? Take you to court for exercising your First Amendment rights? I think not.
ReplyDelete3176! Seems like you're doing a good job... ;)
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE both blogs - but I don't understand how you get this treatment but Broston doesn't. You guys are hilarious... I'll keep reading no matter what you post.
ReplyDeleteAnd what the heck is a 'blogsite'.
Broston College actually uses BC's name in its TITLE.
ReplyDeleteUuuuugh. I second the First Amendment thing. Seriously.
I don't think you should have to take out the BC portions of your blog. We are all BC students, our experiences at the school are now a part of who we are. Reading this blog is actually another way of processing our experiences as a community and as individuals. It provides a space for humorous bonding and invites us, as students, to look at life from a different point of view as is made possible to us through the enlightened minds of D & K. This blog is in no way putting BC at risk of any negative opinions of the school but instead shines a brilliant light on the talent that BC proudly welcomes and cultivates as a Liberal Arts University.
ReplyDeleteThank you all for your support!
ReplyDeleteSo, I was reading in law, and i can give you many statutes, precedents, and of course the famed constitutional amendment to show you that criticism is held in the highest protection by the Supreme Court of the United States. I don't think the administration wants a Freedom of Speech suit on their hands. keep up the good work. I love Boston College, and your blog is merely humorous commentary on the minor vexations that students encounter at all colleges. It doesn't make me think of Boston College in any lesser light.
ReplyDeletekeep the posts coming! they are awesome!
