Work in Progress

It was almost like a whim, but an involuntary one. "We should make a blog," Katlyn said. I tried to thrash her hopes for as long as I could before I submitted to the fact that we would be awesome at it.

It's going to be an interesting journey full of blood, lachrymose, and laughter, but hopefully just the last one. Mostly.

The Collegiate Cycle

When you are first introduced to college, there is a warm and fuzzy feeling.  It's cute and new and just so sweet.  Your life is amazing.

I'm new! ...And kind of like a dinosaur!
But then, as with everything, your love affair starts to dwindle and the real hard work begins.

You become a little uncertain about college because, well, it's starting to get a little mean.

And finally, despite your efforts, college becomes a ravenous bitch that eats your money relentlessly and tells you to become a hardcore liberal because now you are poor and will need government welfare--unless you're in the business school.

You hate yourself for going to college, for wasting money, and being in debt for what seems like the rest of your existence...

and then you get a job.

Yay for you!

And then college is the best thing that ever happened to you.
